## Itinerary

### Day 1: Arrive At Paro Airport – Thimpu ( 1 1⁄2 HRS)

The journey to Paro is one of the finest sensations of flying over the Himalayas. The views of the mountains and the Himalayan ranges from the landing in Bhutan are breathtaking. As soon as you land at the airport in Bhutan, complete the airport's immigration and customs procedures and then leave.
Arrive at Paro airport, receive, and transfer to Thimpu. Evening visit to Buddha Point and walk around Thimpu Market. Overnight in Thimpu.

### Day 2: Thimpu

After breakfast, our entire day consists of Thimpu sightseeing. The places that we will roam around in Thimphu are:
National Chorten
National Library
Nat Heritage Museum
Memorial Chorten
Tashicho Dzong
Mothinthang Zoo
Handicraft Emporium and Art & Craft School
Overnight in Thimpu.

### Day 3: Punakha Sightseeing

After eating our breakfast, the day begins with local sightseeing in Punakha and Khamsum Yulley Chorten. It is a beautiful view walk to this Stupa built by third Queen Ashi Tshering Yangdon. Moreover, we will visit the new temple and Hunny site of Sangcholing on the way to Talo Village. Overnight in Punakha.

### Day 4: Punakha – Paro ( 04 1⁄2 HRS)

We will spend the morning strolling around the streets of Punakha. After lunch we will drive back to Paro. The drive is about four and half hours long. In the evening, you can visit the local markets and wander around the streets of Paro. Overnight in Paro

### Day 5: Paro

After Breakfast, our sightseeing of Paro city begins. The places that we will visit are:
Drukyal Dzong
Ta Dzong
Kyichu Lakhang & Rinpung Dzong.
Paro Market.
Overnight in Paro.

### Day 6: Visit Taktsang Monestary

We prepare to trek to Tiger's Nest monastery early in the morning. We planned a lovely trip up to Taktsang monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest monastery, after breakfast at the hotel. We spend around two to three hours trekking uphill to visit a stunning Buddhist monastery that clings to a rock. In addition to being beautiful, the monastery has a striking position.
According to legend, Guru Rinpoche came to meditate in a cave after riding a tiger there. The monastery is located where Guru Rinpoche used to meditate. The Paro valley is spectacularly viewed during the hike up to the monastery. We visit the monastery, after which we travel to Paro for lunch. If time restrictions prevented us from visiting Kichu Lhakhang and Ta Dzong before, we could do so now.
We also have an optional drive to Chele la pass, the highest motor-driven pass (3700 Meters). Later in the evening, we can shop in Paro town. Overnight in Paro.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need previous trekking experience?

Not for most treks. Good general fitness is enough for routes like Ghorepani Poon Hill or Annapurna Base Camp. Each trip page shows its difficulty and maximum altitude; our team will tell you honestly which trips suit you.

### Which permits do I need, and do you arrange them?

Most treks need a national park or conservation area permit, and some regions need a restricted area permit. We arrange the permits listed in each trip’s “Cost includes”.

### What is the best time to trek in Nepal?

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) have the clearest mountain views. Each trip page lists its best months.

### Is travel insurance required?

Yes. Your insurance must cover trekking at the trip’s maximum altitude, including helicopter evacuation.

### Can I change the itinerary or book a private trip?

Yes. Every trip can be run privately or adjusted to your dates, pace and budget — ask for a quote.
