Purifying Inner Kora in Mt. Kailash

Mt. Kailash (6714m), Asia's holiest peak, is located in a remote and high enclave of West Tibet. It is one of three pilgrimage sites known as Kangri Tsosum. All are thought to be at the core of the ancient Shangshung kingdom, the alleged birthplace of the pre-Buddhist Bonpos. Mt Kailash, also known as Yungdrung Gu Tse, the Nine-story Swastika Mountain, is their soul mountain.

Accommodation: Clients will stay in twin sharing rooms (single rooms are available at an extra fee) in a high-quality hotel in the center of Kathmandu. Tents with bathing tents or extremely modest guest homes with shared rooms and rudimentary bathroom facilities will be available in Tibet. Our team will handle all camping obligations.

Tibet is a Chinese autonomous territory. As a result, you will not be able to get a special permit and visa for Tibet in your own country. You must apply for Tibet permission and visa through our agency.

We must get a scan of your passport 35 days before you arrive in gateway locations (Kathmandu or Lhasa). The passport must be the same as the scan copy and valid for at least six months.

We suggest that Indian passport holders send the original passport to our Delhi office 15 days before arriving in Kathmandu. All other passport holders spend at least two nights in Kathmandu before receiving a Tibet visa. You should also provide two passport-sized photographs. We will give each customer a "Chinese embassy visa form" well in advance to be filled out and returned to us through email or in person upon arrival.

Those entering Lhasa from mainland China need to secure a Chinese visa in their home country, and we will organize and pass over a Tibet permit through our Lhasa representative.

Chinese visas are only valid on the Chinese mainland; do not bring a Chinese visa while entering Tibet from Kathmandu. If you received a Chinese visa, the Chinese embassy would terminate your mainland visa while in Tibet.

Upon arrival, we provide detailed information and a briefing.

Inner Kora: Inner kora includes Nandi Parvat parikrama and visits to Tirtha Puri, Saptarishi Cave, and Kailash Parbat. However, it is more complex and adventurous than outer kora.

Creative Adventure Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and its partners will make every effort to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. However, all trips in Tibet are carefully governed by the Tibet Tourism Bureau's laws and regulations (TTB). As a result, Its counterpart shall not be liable for any change or alteration in the program as a result of unavoidable circumstances such as landslides, road blockages, floods, snowfall, political unrest, flight cancellation, delay in arrival, delay in issuance of permit and visa, sickness, or accidents. Any additional costs incurred will be charged by the clients on the spot.

The CIPSC (China Indian Pilgrims' Service Center) has the authority to organize travel arrangements and set fees for Indian pilgrims in Tibet.

We are delighted to give you any information you want regarding the journey. We have well-trained and welcoming personnel in Tibet to accompany you. Our kind and helpful team will always serve you with a smile. Our guides and crew have all climbed peaks higher than 8000 meters. Our official manager will offer a group briefing in Kathmandu before the start of the tour. On your arrival in Kathmandu, the team leader accompanying you on your journey to Tibet will perform a thorough briefing and re-examination of your accessories. Most treks need a national park or conservation area permit, and some regions need a restricted area permit. We arrange the permits listed in each trip’s “Cost includes”.

### What is the best time to trek in Nepal?

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) have the clearest mountain views. Each trip page lists its best months.
