Purifying Inner Kora in Mt. Kailash
Mt. Kailash (6714m), Asia's holiest peak, is located in a remote and high enclave of West Tibet. It is one of three pilgrimage sites known as Kangri Tsosum. All are thought to be at the core of the ancient Shangshung kingdom, the alleged birthplace of the pre-Buddhist Bonpos. Mt Kailash, also known as Yungdrung Gu Tse, the Nine-story Swastika Mountain, is their soul mountain.

A 45-minute flight to Simikot (3000m) via fixed wing in the morning. A 30-minute flight to Hilsa (3700 m.) by helicopter, then cross the border and drive for an hour to Purang (3800 m.), where you will spend the night in a hotel.
We acclimatize in Purang. You can spend the day and travel to some places in Purang. Overnight stay in Purang hotel
We drive for 3 hours to Lake Mansarovar (4500m) and indulge in a holy bath and puja to purify one’s body, mind, and soul. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.
We take a two-hour drive to Darchen, at the foot of the holy Mt. Kailash. Later on, we walk to Diraphuk. Diraphuk serves as a rest stop for lakhs pilgrims en route to Mt Kailash Parikrama. After a 12-kilometer hike from Yama Dwara, pilgrims arrive at the Diraphuk Gompa base camp at an elevation of 4920 meters.
Zuthulpuk is often referred to as Zutulpuk Gompa. It is 25 kilometers from Dirapuk Gompa and is crossed after the Dola Mala Pass (the highest point for Kailash Mansarovar trekking). It takes around 12 hours to get from Diraphuk to Zutulpuk. It appears on the second day of the journey.
Astapad is an eight-step process. Mount Kailash is said to be flanked by eight lesser mountains, forming a lotus shape with eight petals. On an excursion trip, a massive number of pilgrims visit Astapad. A visit is well worth it if you want to see the south face of Kailash and the Nandi Mountain in front of it. Overnight stay at camp.
The Saptrishi Caves is an extreme hub in the Nandi inner Parikrama, and one of the most challenging treks encountered during the Inner Kora. This Kora is performed during the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra, which is well recognized as a trendy tour to view the holiness of Mount Kailash.
We return to Darchen at the end of our trekking expedition. Most tourists just spend the remainder of the day in town, relaxing and repacking before continuing their journey the next day.
We will return from the charming village of Darchen, passing around mani walls and skirting the base of the Kailash mountain via endless expanses of the desolate country, rich green valleys, snow-capped peaks, and gorgeous blue lakes. Later on, we will drive back to Hisila via Purang. Overnight stay in Hisila.
We end our journey in Simikot. We will take a flight to Nepalgunj from Simikot and another back to Kathmandu.
A Creative Adventure Nepal representative will send you off at the airport and bid you farewell to your sacred tour.
