The Muktinath temple sits at an altitude of 3,710m (12,172 feet) at the Thorong La mountain pass base in the Mustang district. Muktinath is a widely recognized sacred spot for Hindus and Buddhists.
Mukti Kshetra, which means "place of salvation" in Hinduism, is one of Nepal's oldest temples dedicated to the God Vishnu and the Vaishnava tradition. The temple is one of the eight sacred locations known as Svayam Vyakta Kshetras (the other seven being Srirangam, Srimushnam, Tirupati, Naimisharanya, Totadri, Pushkar, and Badrinath), as well as one of Lord Vishnu's 108 Divya Desam, or holy places of devotion. It is also one of the 51 Shakti Pitha goddess locations.
The temple is tiny, with a human-sized golden statue of Vishnu as Shri Mukti Narayana within. Aside from Mukti Narayana, the temple also has bronze representations of Bhoodevi (the Earth-goddess version of Lakshmi), the goddesses Saraswati and Janaki (Sita), Garuda (Vishnu's steed), Lava-Kusa (Rama and Sita's kids), and the Sapta Rishis (Seven Sages created by Lord Brahma). Elderly Buddhist monks staffs the temple, and Buddhist nuns lead devotion.
A semi-circular wall behind the temple has 108 stone faucets at seven feet. The faucets are around one foot apart, and all have the form of a bull's head. The cold water from the Kali Gandaki river flows through the tap, and the brave pilgrims take a round beneath the faucets.
Buddhists refer to Muktinath as Chumming Gyatsa, which translates as "Hundred Waters" in Tibetan. According to Tibetan Buddhism, Chumig Gyatsa is a holy site of the Dakinis deities known as Sky Dancers and one of the 24 famous Tantric sites. According to Tibetan Buddhist legend, Guru Rimpoche, better known as Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, meditated here on his trip to Tibet.

After breakfast, we will begin a guided tour of some of Kathmandu's most important historical and spiritual sites. Some of these sites are World Heritage Sites, such as the revered Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the well-known 'Monkey Temple' Swayambunath, and the Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath, which is one of the world's biggest Stupas. You will also tour the historic palaces of Kathmandu Durbar Square. These palaces are filled with stone and wood sculptures that celebrate ancient Nepal's rich creative legacy. After breakfast, you will depart for Pokhara. Driving takes around 6 to 7 hours. You will spend the rest of your time seeing Phewa Lake and boating around there. Overnight at Hotel Hotel on BB (Bed and Breakfast) | Private Vehicle
Early in the morning, fly to Jomsom, settle into a hotel, and travel to Muktinath for darshan. Drive back to Jomsom after finishing darshan. Overnight stay in Muktinath. Hotel on BLD (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) | Private Vehicle

After breakfast, we will depart from Pokhara to Chitwan. On arrival, the hotel staff will greet you with welcoming refreshments before exploring and walking about Tharu village, an ethnic tribe indigenous to the Terai area. oday you will learn why the National Park plays such a vital role in conserving the wildlife that is quickly becoming extinct in this world. In their native environment, you're almost certain to see one-horned rhinos, egrets, woodpeckers, and deer. The park also has rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, genetic dolphin, 500 birds, butterflies, and the nearly extinct Gharials crocodiles, as well as 543 species of birds, including the critically endangered Bengal florican, the vulnerable lesser adjutant, Grey-crowned Prinia, and others. Our Activities: - Elephant Safari: A traditional way of exploring the jungle. You can see over the high grass from the elephant's back and discover the animals there. Colorful Tharu Village Visit: Discover the history and customs of the Tharu people, who have spent generations living close to the jungle and animals. In symbiosis and combat with wild creatures. Nature or Jungle Walk: Walk about the region and observe birds, animals, and vegetation. Our specialists can take you to prime spots to see tigers, rhinos, and other animals. Elephant Bath: At Rapti river, you will take a bath with an elephant. The Elephant bath is perfect for your health. Cannoning trip: A traditionally handcrafted canoe will transport you down the famed Rapti River. You will see the Harmless Gharial and the mud-soaked crocodile lazing on the river banks in the sun. On the journey, you may spot several water birds. Tharu Stick Dance: Men perform a musical tribal dance accompanied by drums and the crashing of sticks. It was an excellent and memorable trip arranged by creative adventure. We were 15 family members planned for pilgrimage trip but later combined adventures too for the sake of our kids. From the arrival and till departure, Ramesh Ji ‘s support was excellent. He was able to reach even at night for some emergencies. Excellent vehicles were provided and especially kind and experienced drivers were arranged. Because of the change in climatic conditions , our flight got cancelled and we were supposed to do road travel. We afraid a lot but the drivers were really experienced and helped us a lot in all aspects. Food arranged in hotels were really good. ( Only concern was they could have separated veg n non veg in different places n not on the same counters). Especially chef in landmark Kathmandu was so kind n prepared food specially for us. Cultural village in Janakpur also provided homely n decent food. We had a great n enjoyable trip all over. Thanks Ramesh Ji for arranging everything. We definitely recommend Creative adventure to everyone.
