The Gentle Waves

Seti river rafting course is one of the shortest, covering only 35 kilometers, and is ideal for a family outing. The expedition's starting point is Damauli (5 hours from Kathmandu and an hour from Pokhara), and its ending point is Gai Ghat.

The placid Seti River offers class 2 and 3 rapids. The severity of the rapid rises during the monsoon months, so if you want a smoother and warmer rafting experience, the months of October to December and March to June are ideal.

It offers Nepali landscapes with local communities, terrace farms, and gorgeous sandy beaches to camp on during the warm starry nights without having to confront challenging rapids. This rafting excursion ends near Chitwan National Park, making it easy for those who wish to spend a few days in the peaceful valley of Chitwan and who want to avoid taking a bus from Pokhara to Chitwan. It is one of the greatest rivers for learning to kayak.

Program ( 2 Days )

On the first day of our trip, we will drive towards Damauli from Kathmandu. The drive is about five hours. Next, the river guides will assist you in packing the necessities in dry bags, and you will have plenty of time to change. The rafting guides will go through safety precautions and paddle instructions with you.

Our rafting adventure will begin with leisure paddling through the gorgeous landscape; you will be able to see many bird species and snap photographs till we arrive at Sarang Ghat, our day's camp location. You may explore the area, snap pictures, or simply rest on the beach.

We begin our day with a good breakfast. Then we board our rafts, navigate a few class 3 rapids, and arrive at Trishuli. After paddling for 20 minutes from Trishuli, we arrive at Gai Ghat. You may select your destination from here; you can return to Kathmandu in 4 hours, Pokhara in 4 hours, or Chitwan in 4 hours.
