The Royal Trek

Prince Charles and his 90-person entourage investigated this route in the early 1980s, giving rise to the name "Royal Trek." With the wide variety of people and cultures who call this region home, this walk offers possibilities for important cultural encounters.

The Royal Trek adventure starts in the lovely lakeside city of Pokhara and travels through lovely Gurung communities. On tour, we get the opportunity to take in breathtaking views of the elegantly constructed hillside rice terraces, the beautiful Annapurna range, Machapuchhre [fishtail], and the Langtang Mountain vistas. The journey concludes at Begnas Lake, a picturesque location around 30 kilometers to the west of Pokhara City.

The Royal trekking tour is mostly suited for novices who lack time to go further. This Royal journey offers us the opportunity to record the traditional lifestyles of tribes whose old religious rituals and traditions have remained untouched for thousands of years. The Royal hiking path is less popular than other trekking locations in the Annapurna region, allowing you to get closer to nature, culture, and lifestyle.
